Either a seasonal license with a Trout Stamp or a 24-hour license. 24-hour licenses are available for purchase at the boat. Resident is $13.00 and non-resident is $15.00 (includes issuing fee).
A Trout Stamp is not required with a 24-hour license.
We have Coast Guard approved life jackets on board but they are not very comfortable. You are not required to wear one unless there is an emergency but if you want to (or have your child) wear one please bring them.
No boots or black shoes
We will fish in the rain. There is plenty of cover on the boat and in the cabin but bring rain gear if you want to stay in the action. Plan for extremes - it can be cold on the lake even if it's warm on shore and it can be hot on the lake if it's sunny with no breeze. Layers are good.
The sun can get intense and sometimes the flies are pesky. If you use sun block and bug repellants please only bring the lotion type. The spray types can damage the upholstery and electronics screens. Sunglasses are a good idea too.
You'll want to bring something to eat and drink especially if you're on an all day trip. Beer and alchohol are permitted in moderation.
Fish cleaning is included and when you get a big one you will want to get a picture.
Credit cards, checks and even cash are accepted. Gratuities for the crew are appreciated.
We supply all rods and tackle.
